  16. I do not think the Amiga has any adapters with mode 3 or 4 support.  But the transfer rate
  17. is burst.  No single drive in the market (SCSI or IDE) that I know of has a sustained tranfer
  18. rate higher than 4MB anyways (and those that do are pricy).

  23. I always thought that SCSI III was not yet defined, maybe it is now, I have not kept up with
  24. it or maybe people have decided that Wide SCSI II is SCSI III.  But you might be refering to
  25. WIDE SCSI and no, there is no implementation that I know of.  But several SCSI II implementations
  26. on accelerator boards get up 10MB.
  27. I think there is a company (I believe is Applied Magic) that has a little do hicky that can
  28. take two identical SCSI drives and sorta double transfer rate by using them as one.  YES, they
  29. do Amiga stuff but since is SCSI it works with any "real" SCSI controller on any platform.
