- I do not think the Amiga has any adapters with mode 3 or 4 support. But the transfer rate
- is burst. No single drive in the market (SCSI or IDE) that I know of has a sustained tranfer
- rate higher than 4MB anyways (and those that do are pricy).

- I always thought that SCSI III was not yet defined, maybe it is now, I have not kept up with
- it or maybe people have decided that Wide SCSI II is SCSI III. But you might be refering to
- WIDE SCSI and no, there is no implementation that I know of. But several SCSI II implementations
- on accelerator boards get up 10MB.
- I think there is a company (I believe is Applied Magic) that has a little do hicky that can
- take two identical SCSI drives and sorta double transfer rate by using them as one. YES, they
- do Amiga stuff but since is SCSI it works with any "real" SCSI controller on any platform.
-
- Also, I believe Dave Haynie had a discussion on something like this not too long ago. Maybe
- you should check out for oooold messages in here.
